When it comes to cabinetry qualities there is a wide range of what you can find. Whether cabinetry is built in a shop, onsite, or in a factory, there are certain features and characteristics we recommend looking for. These features and characteristics are what gives the cabinetry the quality and durability to last a long time.
Dovetail Drawer Boxes
Dovetailed drawer boxes are a type of construction to ensure durability. Dovetailing is like when you crisscross your fingers with one another and hold your hands tightly together in place. This is also what happens with each corner of the drawer box – keeping it together. Dovetailing is done with wooden boxes, ensuring quality to last a long time. So, if you see dovetailed boxes, that’s a great place to start!
Cabinet Box Details
Cabinet boxes that are made with furniture board or an upgraded plywood option is a wonderful option for your cabinetry. Furniture board is a high-quality material that furniture is also made of. While plywood is an even more durable option providing more robust cabinetry (it’s also heavier in weight). We don’t recommend anything less than furniture board or plywood if you want good quality and durability.
No Assembly Necessary
Our cabinetry is made to order from a factory. The cabinet boxes come pre-assembled so there is no need to “Ikea” your cabinetry and work with a ton of different pieces. With it being pre-assembled you also won’t have to worry about the quality of work, because our people do all that for you!
Soft Close Hinges and Drawer Glides
Ah, the soft close. This is probably one of our most favorite features when it comes to qualities of a top cabinetry line. With soft close drawers and soft-close doors, you’ll never have to worry about slamming and loud bangs coming from the kitchen (unless you’re cooking up a storm!). It’s a small bit of luxury that we recommend everyone having in their kitchen.
Full Extension Drawers
Imagine being able to have a full overview of your kitchen drawers. Being able to have control of everything from front to back of your drawers allows for better organization and keeping order. Plus you’ll want to have all the space you can get, right!?
